Lima beans

Lima Beans

I sit here and think,
Wondering what I might do,
thinking the kids on my sides,
thinking mellow and pride.

Wondering why I had so few friends,
afraid of my laugh,
afraid of my grin.

Wondering about Lima beans,
thinking burning,
thinking dumplings.

Wondering whats in me,
stressing auditory,
stressing inward ability.

Wondering tomorrow,
riding on buses,
hoping getting the paper I need.

Wondering if brother will eat,
happily greeting,
happily eating.

Wondering why evil,
terribly cruel,
deceptively wicked.

Wondering of organization,
chaotically hypnotic,
deceptively strange.

Wondering if anyone,
reading my poem,
getting my doing.
